SOIL AND WATER: A SOURCE OF LIFE SYMPOSIUM Dec 2023

In December 2023 I was invited to present at Soil and Water: A Source of Life Symposium hosted by Soil Science Australia WA at Kings Park in celebration of World Soil Day. It was great to connect with people working in the soil and water nexus and hear from leading soil researchers, practitioners, industry and government. My presentation was on the exciting possibilities with community engagement and education in the area of soil health and urban greening. It was so good to meet people whose work I have long admired and to catch up with old friends.

The third edition of marine plants of Australia is now out!

I am delighted to have contributed an image of my Elizabeth Reef painting for the cover and front and end pages of the third edition of John Huisman’s Marine Plants of Australia. The image is a detail from my eight meter long painting of our own ELizabeth Reef in Cottesloe. This beautiful book with John’s stunning photographs and descriptions has everything you need to know about our unique and diverse marine plants as well as a lot more you might never have imagined. This is a must for anyone who loves snorkelling, diving or just fossicking along the shore.

The cover artwork which is a detail from a large painting is available in limited edition reproductions from my studio. Contact me.
